Collaborating With a New Partner

At the end of 2017, a long time partner of mine, Curvine, sold his business. Luckily, the new company, Seattle Design, chose to continue to work with me.

The first project I worked on with Seattle Design (SD) was redesigning a website. I worked a bit differently on this project. Instead of mocking up a website in Photoshop and letting someone else build the site, SD wanted me to create the design on the fly in WordPress using the Beaver Builder plug-in. An advantage of working this way was that I could get the client on the phone and make design changes as we talked (and she could see them right away).

After I finished about 95% of the website, SD finished up with tweaks to the text and minor style revisions.

Here’s what the new site looks like (you can also see it in action at http://www.jtillmantraining.org/.

Since February 1, 2018, when this website went live, J. Tilman has gotten 16 brand new clients and reconnected with nine previous clients. This is a major victory for her in only 10 weeks!
