I like to give back to my community, so at the Wallingford Chamber’s annual auction in November 2012, I donated a web design & development package. The Wallingford Community Senior Center submitted the winning bid. We didn’t actually start the project until October 2013, however.
Their website really needed some web redesign help. It was hard to update and not very organized. I suggested a WordPress website since it has an excellent content management system (CMS). I also used larger images and type, making it easier for older eyes to view. Photos on the site were supplied by the center (no stock photos) depicting real members of the center. The new site was launched the beginning of February 2014.
